A RIO GT PERHAPS Its because the turbo can get very very hot if the car is used for longer runs at quite high speed, if the turbo is not allowed to cool down before the engine is stopped the oil in its bearings will burn and become deposited carbon that ruins the bearings if done on a regular basis.
