Terrain Editing in No Man's Sky. This guides describes how I think terrain editing works in No Man's Sky. The findings are based on 2 weeks of study that utilized the NMS Save Editor to track edits. In summary, the regeneration of terrain is the result of a cap on total edits and the way NMS handles protected and unprotected terrain edits.

So I played this game a while ago, like 4 years ago in the army. Got bored with the lack of stuff so I stopped. Decided to buy it on sale for the ps5 since I primarily use that now, and the file size just seems super low. 13gb for the ps5 version.

Full Driver updates, problem is game file size, the larger the game file the more likely the game is to randomly disconnect. 1200 hour game is disconnecting almost every time there is a transition using the teleporter or landing on a planet, 750 hr game files disconnect about half the time, 500 hr or less games files stutter but don't crash, Game Saves under 100 hrs seem to rarely crash.
